In addition, in the galactic east, the Sautekh dynasty has been making probing attacks. For now the necrons are perceived as a low threat by the other powers of the region, with the Tau making plans for full scale invasions of their tomb worlds in the Perseus Deeps. Whether this move is wise or not remains to be seen.
Welcome to the Aleph Sector Campaign blog, Sheffield University Wargames Society's narrative based campaign set in Games Workshop's Warhammer 40,000 universe. If you are new here, have a read of the Aleph Sector Campaign System. This will explain what the campaign is, how it works etc. If you are really keen you can download the entire ten year history of the campaign! If you are a new student in Sheffield, visit the Wargames website from the links section on the right to get involved!
The Necrons
The necrons of the Aleph Sector were growing in threat for several years before an error in their reanimation protocols struck down first the Harakhty dynasty then the Charnovokh dynasty. Several systems remain under nominal necron control especially in the Perseus Deeps, but for many years activity here has been quiet. Some believe the necrons to have been irrevocably deactivated, while others fear any invasion of these tomb worlds would wake up a great horde that would risk domination of the sector.
