Kel Sandros Eldar enter the search for the Ignotum
The Kel Sandros Eldar finally committed to the search for the Foramen Interdictum towards the end of 10.018M42. Tarquil had become concerned that the alliance, despite having acquired the necron key itself, were still making no progress in finding the necron device itself. To rectify this, the eldar sent small scouting teams through the webway, scouring the extinct necron worlds of the distant expanse at considerable risk, searching for anything that would tell them where the last device was located. Their search brought them into contact with the Genestealer threat, who the eldar seriously underestimated, and the small party sent to one world was wiped out, prompting the sealing shut of that webway branch. the Kel Sandros also encountered the Imperium, also searching the ruins at Vespae, but once again the loyalists were seen off, although the eldar were unsuccessful in finding any hint as to where the necrons had built their device. It almost felt as the necrons were mocking them , so Tarquil was forced to abandon his search and call in other help.
