Raids in the Expanse

While the main action continued on Hexis and in the Foramen Interdictum, raids sector wide continued to hamper supply, as several smaller operations clashed with each other. In the Hadron Expanse, the Thousand Sons were raided by the Adeptus Mechanicus as they attempted to track down the cause of Cybixx's heresy, while the Black Templars clashed with Tau forces investigating systems close to the Rifts of Hecate. This action indicated that the Black Templars may be considering a return to the Expanse, as Inquisitor Vorushko was keen to secure the support of as much support as possible for her new Crusade into the Expanse, returning more worlds to the Emperor's light.

Finally the Salamanders attempted to infiltrate and destroy Stahl's defences on Hexis, but the small team were intercepted by the World Eaters close to the centre of Praxis, who engaged the loyalist astartes and forced them away from chaos held territory. These raids would continue to take place and even escalate as 019M42 continued.
